350ml CellBRx® Quad

The CellBRx® 350 mL Quad bioreactor system is a compact, small-scale, multi-bioreactor platform tailored for high-throughput upstream process development, optimization, and characterization of adherent cell-based bioprocesses. Ideal for applications such as vaccine development, viral vector production optimization and process troubleshooting, exosome generation, and stem cell cultivation, it enables parallel operation of up to 8 single-use bioreactor vessels via 2× Quad docking stations connected to a SCADA-based process controller unit. The system offers precise control over critical parameters and supports robust, data-rich experimentation in mini-scale format.

1L CellBRx®

The CellBRx® 1L bioreactors are compact, high-throughput system for early-stage adherent cell culture based vaccine and viral vector development. Its scalable disc-shaped carriers offer 1 m²and 2.5 m² versions to enable flexible process optimization. By emulating the principles of large-scale Dynamic Bed Reactor (DBR) technology in a miniature format, the CellBRx® 1L system leverages cost-effective disposable bioreactors controlled by an automated controller unit. The controller can manage up to eight (8) docking stations, enabling high-throughput parallel processing and evaluation of multiple cell culture experiments. Designed for perfusion-based workflows, it enhances productivity while minimizing costs, supporting process development, scale-down studies, and data-driven optimization strategies like QbD and DoE.

5L CellBRx®

Pilot-Scale Bioreactors

The CellBRx® 5L bioreactor systems are engineered to facilitate pilot-scale experimentation and intermediate-scale commercial production by providing controlled and scalable culture conditions. These systems offer surface area configurations of 10 m², 25 m², and 40 m², with the 40 m² variant corresponding to approximately 63 units of Cell Factories-10 (CF-10) or 470 units of roller bottles (each 850 cm²). Functioning as a mid-scale stirred bioreactor, the CellBRx® 5L SUB is widely utilized for bioprocess scale-up studies and the optimization of critical physical parameters. These include agitation rate, aeration rate, temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen concentration, all of which are crucial for maintaining optimal cell growth and productivity.

Available in two configurations—offering 100 m² and 250 m² of culture surface area—the 250 m² variant provides an expansive growth environment equivalent to approximately 393 units of Cell Factories-10 (CF-10) or 2941 units of roller bottles (each 850 cm²). This high surface-to-volume ratio enables significant biologics yield while minimizing spatial requirements compared to conventional culture methods.
